StoreVitals
Feature · Change Tracking

See what happened after your listing edit.

StoreVitals records changes detected at each sync. With Essentials, compare subsequent performance with the rest of your shop and see when the evidence is still inconclusive.

Change history is free. Verdicts are included with Essentials and require enough data.

Change Tracking in the app: every recorded listing edit, newest first, with its measured verdict.

Keep the history beside the evidence you use to decide what to try next.

Record

Keep a record as your listings change.

Price, title, tags, photos, description and attributes are compared with the previous snapshot at each sync. Changes made between syncs may appear as one combined update.

Compare

Compare with your own shop.

Compare supported before-and-after windows with other listings over the same dates. Edited comparison listings are excluded; the method helps account for wider shop changes but cannot prove the edit caused the result.

Questions

Everything you need to know.

How long does a verdict take?

An eligible edit generally needs about four weeks of post-edit observation: a five-day measurement buffer followed by a 21-day window. It also needs a suitable earlier baseline. Limited data or overlapping changes can delay or prevent a clear verdict.

What if I change several things?

Overlapping changes may prevent a clear verdict. If you want to learn about one specific change, avoid changing several things at once where practical.

Does it work without Google Analytics?

Yes. Where traffic is available, the comparison can use it; otherwise it uses orders and requires a larger movement before reaching a directional conclusion.
